Best way for exchange?
I have been asked to set up a customer with Exchange 2000. I have tried to convert them, so please don't suggest it. We have 3 boxes we can use to do this with. We want to use Samba 3 as the PDC (ldap backend) and Samba 3 as BDC (ldap backend), with the exchange box as a domain member. Will this work? If not, what is the best way to ensure that : a. We have PDC and BDC for authentication

Can auth with smbclient, but not workstation.
...to connect via explorer - username and password is rejected. Does anyone have any ideas? What are the appropriate logs and files you want to see in order to help us with this problem? I have quite a large range of log files, including winbindd logs, samba logs in %m.%U format... Thanks Allen Bolderoff

w2ksrv, and a samba based netlogon?
Is it possible to have a windows 2000 server in AD mode, with a samba server as a domain member, and have the roaming profiles and netlogon stuff all happen on the samba server? So: W2ksrv as ADC. Samba box is joined to AD on the w2ksrv box. We then add a user to the w2ksrv box, and set up the profile to load from \\sambaserver\homes\profile\ and to run the logon script from
