...hen vorbis will be able to support all 6 channels? If I could get the data off the DVD, what are my best options right now if I wanted to use ogg vorbis? Is there a program which will sample it down to 44.1khz/16bit/stereo which I could then encode to ogg vorbis? Ogg Vorbis on PPC Linux?
...should mention is that when I ran autogen.sh it reported this: checking host system type... powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu checking for memory.h... no checking for cos in -lm... yes However, memory.h does exist and it should be getting found. Any ideas would be helpful. :) Bryan -- http://www.bokeoa.com/ | bryan@bokeoa.com GPG fingerprint: 3608 4610 8C08 B8EB 0970 9686 8A93 386C 6116 EFE2

application/pgp-signature attachment: stored
-------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Increased memory usage between 4.8 and 5.5
I'm running into a memory problem when trying to switch some web servers that are running centos4.8/x86_64 to centos5.5/x86_64. The new servers running centos5.5 are using a decent amount more memory than the centos4.8 servers. Here's an example from top: --- centos 5.5 --- $ uname -a Linux ws51 2.6.18-194.17.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Sep 29 12:50:31 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

DVD Audio & Vorbis
I recently bought a DVD Audio disc and I searched the web and wasn't really able to find much about DVD Audio and Linux. I have a few questions that I was hoping some people on this list might be able to answer. How can I extract the uncompressed DVD Audio (not the DTS Audio portion of the disc, but the 96khz/24bit/5.1 pcm part)?
