End of NSS port
Hi all, I am pleased to announce that NSS port of NUT is finished. Port is fully functionnal (same functionnalities as openssl, and a not-activated-by-default client certificate validation function) and successfully tested by myself (external tests are pending, Frederic Bohe is planned for) with a test matrix which will be uploaded to the web site soon (by Arnaud), tested functionnality by functionnality in each installation context (no ssl, openssl and nss) and in interoperability context (no ssl/openssl, no ssl/nss, openssl/nss). Due to my "not-well" engl...

...ves (search for "HCL"). Here's more information on dummy-ups: http://www.networkupstools.org/docs/man/dummy-ups.html > Code cleanup; I like the idead to reference original NUT code (remove the duplicates in my project. I re-used the ported NUT files from WinNUT) I CC'd Frederic Bohe who worked on the NUT windows_port branch. Perhaps he has some suggestions. The windows_port in his GitHub repo is different than the original one we converted from SVN, so I don't know the current status of that porting effort. > Looking forward to work with the development team > &gt...

Announce: new team member (to work on Mozilla NSS port)
Dear fellows, As you have probably seen, NUT has had a recent boost through the help of Eaton. Frederic Bohe (contractor for Eaton France) has worked on Augeas, and is now working the Windows port. Chetan Agarwal, seconded by Prashi Gandi (both from Eaton India) are working on XCP and quality / validation related projects. I'm now pleased to announce that Emilien Kia (contractor for Eaton France) is...

Windows port delivery 1 and call to test
Hello, This is the first public release of NUT for Windows operating systems : http://opensource.eaton.com/stable/windows/ This development has been sponsored by Eaton. It has been ported by Frederic Bohe and packaged by Praveen Kumar. Please, consider this is a beta release. Many things haven't been tested yet and the graphical interactions are still primitive and will be addressed in following releases (a GUI is under development in Eaton). The goal is to integrate the Windows branch for NUT 2...

How to setup the NUT client on Windows?
...Now the question is who is/are those developers who did the job and know how it works? Probably Arnaud Quette as in the Changelog he's the one who released the 2.6.5-6 version for Windows and is several time mentioning updates/adjustments for the Windows version. He's also thanking Frederic Bohe for his "hard work on the Windows port" in 2014. And in 2011 he's the one who announced the official Windows port following the end of WinNUT: "Advertise more the official Windows port, with regard to WinNUT" So I guess I should try to get directly in touch with Arnaud and...

How to setup the NUT client on Windows?
Hi, I have an Eaton 5SC UPS with only 1 USB communication port, but... I need 3 devices to safely switch off in case of power failure, 2 Synology NAS and 1 PC under Windows 7 (soon 10)! So I've decided to connect the UPS to the main NAS (via the USB cable), enabled the "Network UPS server" on the NAS, entered the other NAS and PC IP addresses to let them receive NUT messages in case
