Adjust disk image migration (NBD)
...t migrate --copy-storage-inc'. Basically qemu uses the same stream as RAM migration and libvirt takes advantage of NBD transfer. With virsh migrate-setspeed I observed that one can only control the transfer throughput of RAM, but not disk synchronization. At least this is what I can see in bmon when doing a migration with incremental copy. The question is: Am I missing something or it is not implemented? Thank you guys!

Memory reporting...
Hi, I have a little question about memory usage... When I do a free, I get: total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 18482800 18030668 452132 0 683068 9426792 -/+ buffers/cache: 7920808 10561992 But, when I do a ps, mysql is the only process that takes noticable memory; and it is far from 7.9GBs... Closing information leaks in jails?
Hello, I'm wondering about closing some information leaks in FreeBSD jails from the "outside world". Not that critical (depends on the application), but a simple user, with restricted devfs in the jail (devfsrules_jail for example from /etc/defaults/devfs.rules) can figure out the following: - network interfaces related data, via ifconfig, which contains everything, but the

High delay and some echo
Hi list! I use Asterisk 13.14.1 from Debian repository on a DSL from Deutsche Telekom. Asterisk works well, but I have really often an high delay (I understand it since the other party speak some seconds before he hears my question and answer) and sometimes I hear an echo. I really don't know what can I check and what can be the problem. The problem exists since a very long time, but in the

Qdisc statistics project
As a necessety for my job is to real-time monitor the bytes, packets, packet dropped etc of all the qdiscs working inside the kernel i''ve tried varius methods: 1. Parse tc -s command output and update a round robin database and use rrdtool to graphically display tc statistics. [varius perl scripts exist for the above job] 2. Unsuccesfully tried QoS SNMP extensions, in order to use a
