Problems with 64bit dll compile in R-2.15.0
I built my package under the R version 2.14.1 on windows without any problems by first checking for issues using R CMD check (no warnings) and then R CMD build to build the tar.gz. I can install this on version 2.14.1 using install.packages(...). I next tested to see if I could also install on version 2.15.0 (also on my computer) using install.packages() with the version 2.14.1 tar.gz this

No, but you need to ask on an RStudio mailing list. This one is about R. Best, Uwe Ligges On 06.04.2023 11:28, Steven T. The RStudio list generally does not respond to free version users. I was hoping someone one this (R) list would be kind enough to help me. blocked MRPP and ISA
I have been trying to find a way to do a blocked MRPP (MRBP) and blocked ISA in R but have not found anything (in fact I found some things that say it is not possible). Does anyone know of a package, or written a script, that can do either of these? Thank you for any help.

NHW Project - speed comparison with x265
Hello, I am very slowly working on the NHW Project.I recently made a speed comparison with x265 and wanted to share it with you. On my processor Intel Core i5-6400, in average the NHW encoder (totally unoptimized) is x10 times faster to encode than x265 (png decoding time removed), in average 30ms vs 300ms for a 512x512 24bit color image, and in average the NHW decoder (totally unoptimized) is

I have also had difficulty running R in RStudio. Has anyone else had problems? It will be a shame if we need to abandon R Studio. It is a very good IDE. Permutation test, grouped data
I am perfectly aware that this question is not an R question, at least not yet, but I have not succeeded in finding what I want in other ways, so ... What I am looking for are two algorithms, preferabley in Pascal, but other languages may do. For (a) systematic (complete) permutations for grouped data with unequal group sizes, and (b) random permutations for the same kind of data. I know

R does not run under latest RStudio
Does R run from a command prompt? If so, the problem is likely due to your Rstudio setup. If R does not run from a command prompt, any error messages might give some idea of the problem. I can run R and Rstudio in Windows 11?, Windows 10 and the current version of Linux Mint. On Thu 6 Apr 2023, 11:31 Uwe Ligges, <ligges at statistik.tu-dortmund.de> wrote: > No, but you need to ask on

Rubynation DC April 9-10
Just a note to remind everyone that the RubyNation conference is around the corner, less than one month away. We are getting close to sold out, so help us push this thing over the top! This year we have more (and better!) presentations, including a keynote presentation by the person who IMO really started all the fuss with Ruby and Rails, Dave Thomas. We also have a bunch of quality speakers

Simple Mongrel performance question
Zed, Do you have a feeling for how Mongrel''s speed has changed since you started out? Just Mongrel with a plain static file; not burdened with having to go through Rails. You initial numbers were substantially faster than webrick. Now that there is a lot more stuff in Mongrel, are they still substantially faster in your benchmarks? Thanks, Kirk Haines

I've encountered a problem that I've no idea how to solve, attempting to run a few different things in wine now.
