make world
Hi, I was under the impression a successful make world was updating include files in /usr/include/netinet too. When I have a good make world, the files in /usr/include have new time stamps, but the ones in netinet have not! Am I missing something here? My current stable doesn't compille properly it fails in kdump on a missing ioctlcmd_t typedef. Peter

Michael Smith wrote: > This still sounds more likely to be cpu starvation than anything else It seems you were correct. There are occasional peaks above that, which might very well be causing the problem. And the system load now shows

Installation problem
Dear Icecast community, I am trying to install Icecast 2.2 on a new server running FC2. At the start there was no GCC installed. I solved that using up2date. Still I am getting no luck with the ./configure command. The error message "configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check" doesn't make sense to me. I hope somebody can help me to overcome this

Dear Icecast community, For several weeks I am running two IceCast2 streams. I am very pleased with the stability and performance of the Icecast application. Thumbs-up for the developers of this great piece of software!! The sources (live audio) are generated with two separated liveice-sn04 and streams to the remote Icecast servers. So far so good! Frequently one of the sources stops to stream

Can't get 'root preexec' to run
On a Windows domain member client in the ADUC console, you specifiy the home dir path that is to be used on Windows machines on the "Profile" tab. As soon as you click 'Ok' (or 'Apply' for that matter), the folder is created (by the DC via your domain admin account) on the Samba server hosting the share the path you provided leads to.
