Currently on Debian Stretch (2.2.27). This morning we enabled SNI for
our clients (file per domain).
On going live with the new server configuration, we started getting the

Out of memory
Sorry for previous post with incorrect referrals/thread.
For large mailboxes (64k + messages) using maildir I got random "out
of memory" errors.

make check (pigeonhole)
Hello list,
During the 'make check' (pigeonhole) portion of a building (rpmbuild) a
dovecot.spec file I'm getting the following error:
testsuite(root): Fatal: Couldn't drop privileges: User is missing UID
(see mail_uid setting)
I'm not sure how to resolve this, and any help would be appreciated to
help me finish the creating the rpm

We recently upgraded to dovecot v1.0.15 (from v1.0.0 + some local fixes),
and after this upgrade we've started to get a couple of failures from deliver:

Error: Index file too large ? 904 bytes ?
My 1.2.13 build is giving me errors based on the same conf file that was working perfectly for 1.2.12 :

Out of memory errors
Do these errors indicate a memory leak? I see them in the logs a few times per day on each of our servers, running CVS dovecot-20060924...

Crashes with 2.2.4 setup that worked perfectly with 2.2.2 (.2.3 also crashes)
I am not sure how to get the symbols necessary, however the following is

I've setup dovecot a few months ago, and it was working pretty swimmingly.
Then, out of nowhere, we started getting this error:

Dovecot With cygwin

smtp crashing with "out of memory" for ONE particular user
...ay I had some troubles with user, who?s mailbox stopped working. No emails were delivered,
with just following error line in EXIM mainlog:
LMTP connection closed after end of data
When I checked dovecot?s main log, and here?s what I found:

0.99.10.x auth memory leak?
Hello,
running 0.99.10.6 (but seen it before that, too). Also (quite obviously)
running 5 auth processes, given the fact that this is a pretty busy
box and I didn't want to introduce any artificial bottlenecks.
Alas with them eating up half of the free memory (which would go to
a much better use as FS cache) I'm getting sorta concerned.
If it's not a leak, it's caching something
