[PATCH] Change virtio_pci to use a shared memory area for config
This patch changes virtio_pci to use a shared memory area for virtio config info instead of using the PCI configuration space. This is closer semantically to what the virtio API exposes and is it a lot easier to implement on both ends. [PATCH 00/10] RFC: move logical block size checking to the block core
This patch series aims to move the logical block size checking to the block code. This was inspired by missing check for valid logical block size in virtio-blk which causes the kernel to crash in a weird way later on when it is invalid. I added blk_is_valid_logical_block_size which returns true iff the block size is one of supported sizes. I added this check to virtio-blk, and also converted

[PATCH 0/7] virtio cleanups
Aiming these for coming merge window. Nothing should change, but get ready for a non-guest-endian config transports, and > 32 features bits. Final one is just an overdue consolidation. Cheers, Rusty. Rusty Russell (7): virtio_config: introduce size-based accessors. virtio: use size-based config accessors. virtio_config: helpers for non-converting accessors. virtio_config: make

[PATCH 00/49] Staging: hv: Driver cleanup
Further cleanup of the hv drivers: 1) Continue to cleanup our drivers to conform to the Linux Driver Model. 2) Fix some long standing bugs with regards to unloading and reloading the drivers - block, net and stor. 3) VMBUS is an ACPI enumerated device; make VMBUS an ACPI bus driver. 4) Get rid of channel polling code; instead the channel receive paths will be purely interrupt

[PATCH 00/22] New virtio PCI layout
I've renewed this again, with some comments from HPA. I've tried to keep the new patches separate, so you can see the changes since we last discussed this (and so it's easy to back it out if we decide it's insane). I haven't even looked at the QEMU side so this is completely untested. Comments gratefully received! Rusty. Michael S Tsirkin (1): pci: add pci_iomap_range

[patch 00/20] XEN-paravirt: Xen guest implementation for paravirt_ops interface
This patch series implements the Linux Xen guest in terms of the paravirt-ops interface. The features in implemented this patch series are: * domU only * UP only (most code is SMP-safe, but there's no way to create a new vcpu) * writable pagetables, with late pinning/early unpinning (no shadow pagetable support) * supports both PAE and non-PAE modes * xen console * virtual block
