multiple domain and winbind use default domain
Hello
I'm preparing a new fileserver, based on jessie + sernet 4.2.10
packages. the server is bound to a forest, "AD" where users account are
stored, and subdomains "PSI" for computers and some local accounts
The Active directory forest is managed by 2008R2 servers, with rfc2307

winbind + consistent uid & gid
I am trying to get out Linux boxes to authenticate against our AD domain.
We have that part working just fine using Kerberos and winbind. The problem
is when we use NFS on multiple machines. As you could guess, the UIDs and
GIDs are not consistent across all of the machines. From what I have been

getent group lists all the local groups and the AD domain groups that have a UNIX gid set
getent passwd lists only the local users, then pauses for a moment, then nothing. AD users can’t log in and can’t

double segfault in smbd 3.0.21a
Hi
I'm able to reproduce a segfault in smbd, with security=ads , using normal
login or kerberos.
samba 3.0.21a compiled from source, on debian stable.
here are the backtrace:
For the kerberos part, using "smbclient //server/share -k"
Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
