[Blasphemy] Can I build dovecot with "-fstack-protector"?

Two asterisks on one machine
Hello friends, Can I run two asterisks running simultaneously on the same machine? I want one to run v1.0.2 for h323 ( which is an old and running production system ) and one for sip implementation. I wonder how it can be done since they will want access to the same ports and ip addresses. Does anyone know to do this or has done this before? Please share your experiences please.

Blasphemous? any support for a REPO of current edition BIND, et al (e.g., BZ561299)?
...unity for a REPO of current vintage for such important functions as BIND et al? That question is based on the presumption that time is taking us to a more complete and correct implementation of the basic functions like DNS. IOW, is CentOS philosophy of tracking RH so nailed-to-the-wall that it is blasphemy to propose a REPO of current editions of certain very important functions? kind regards/ldv A quote from a long term mentor now at Internet2: "It's fundamentally wrong for RedHat to attempt to backport security patches for such a fundamental service. [RFC] I've made a huge mistake
...but not writing code in a terminal is something completely different. (2) CMake's scripting language has made our build system support all these crazy use cases that I never dreamed of, and they're kinda scary. Did you know that people are cross-compiling arm-Linux toolchains from Darwin? Blasphemy! (3) The CMake open source community is too responsive! I file bugs and they fix them. This is unacceptable. Since they fix my bug reports I can't claim to my boss that I'm blocked on someone outside the company fixing something anymore. This is a really big problem detracting from my foam...

Application Database?
Hey Everyone, I was looking at the App Database : http://appdb.winehq.org/ I was wondering if the rankings for Guild Wars (Platinum) and Everquest (Gold) and other programs etc. were applicable to the Mac OS X platform as well as Ubuntu Linux. When I click on information, the distributions only list Unbuntu and Linux systems. Thanks.

doveadm feature request: move mailbox between users
A feature request for doveadm: move (or copy) mailboxes between users Something like: doveadm movemailbox -s User1 -d User2 Old/Mail/Box Destin/Ation/Path (the same with copymailbox) Or something like that is already possible? -- Ciao, luigi / +--[Luigi Rosa]-- \ It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required. --Sir Winston Churchill

Problem with coxme
...r down in the routine after it has gotton thoroughly confused. c. the actual error message is interesting, as an example of just how odd the error message from a confused routine can be; but has no other use. Thanks to Jing Zhao who forwarded the message on to me, as I prefer Splus (blasphemy!) and don't monitor the r-help list, and also to Spencer Graves and others who tried to further identify the bug. Matrix in R
Hi everyone, I'm building a matrix in R with a cycle for like this: pp_ris2=matrix(NA,6,6) for(i in 0:6){ for(j in 0:6){ if(i>j){ pp_ris2[i,j]=myfunction} else if(i==j){ print(c(i,j)) pp_ris2[i,j]=myfunction} }} but the result is: [,1] [,2] [,3] [,4] [,5] [,6] [1,] 0.062 NaN NaN NaN NaN NaN [2,] 0.083 0.022 NaN NaN NaN NaN [3,]

Charts to M$Word - what's the best format

FWD IMQ mail on netdev
...of obstrutiveness from IMQ as is today. The code added by this is small (100 or less lines on top of dummy) and doesnt touch any of the main core bits. 2) testing of the above by people who use IMQ 3) If someone has better ideas - i am not religious about keeping this; but it certainly cant be the blasphemy that IMQ introduces. I have also introduced hooks to easily add a -i <input dev> to tc classifiers - still on the TODO list. So on the egress you could now classify based on which incoming device the packet arrived on. cheers, jamal On Sat, 2004-01-31 at 17:26, jamal wrote: >> On S...

LXC on CentOS 7 HowTo: PAM Configuration
Hi, I am trying to implement something like an "LXC on CentOS 7 HowTo" for internal use. (Might as well get public afterwards.) I am following the HowTo for CentOS 6 (https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/LXC-on-CentOS6). So, here's what I did so far (Steps 1-6 can easily be omitted, but I am trying to be complete.) 1.) Disable delta RPM's in /etc/yum.conf 2.) Remove LibreOffice

Suggestion for New User
I, like many people, am starting to learn Ruby because of Rails. I am going through several tutorials and am understanding the concepts without too much difficulty, but the one area I am having trouble with is learning the new language. I am not a trained programmer. Rather, I learned how to program out of necessity and therefore lack some of the background that many of you have. I am

I''ve been mostly lurking here with an occasional nuby question for a few weeks now. It seems like Ruby and Rails and the many libraries and tools growing up around it are a remarkable toolset. Unfortunately I''m finding the whole enchilada a bit daunting. It seems that if one is to truly tap into the power of this thing and do a significant amount of developing, one needs

[RFC PATCH v2 0/5] Add virtio-iommu driver
Implement the virtio-iommu driver following version 0.5 of the specification [1]. Previous version of this code was sent back in April [2], implementing the first public RFC. Since then there has been lots of progress and discussion on the specification side, and I think the driver is in a good shape now. The reason patches 1-3 are only RFC is that I'm waiting on feedback from the Virtio TC
