...there something better? I'd really prefer something more limited that just allows me to select whatever it sees as a removable drive and disallows any screwin' about with the other drives. "Format the USB connected drive?". "Choose format (ext4, ext3, fat32)". "Blammo." -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Real D 3D Digital Cinema ~ www.melvilletheatre.com

I got nothing from my ices log (stupid stupid me had loglevel set to only 3..) but icecast said: "Disconnecting source due to socket read error: Broken pipe" I have put debug logging on, so I'll wait and see. > > The send_raw one fixes the busy loop problem, and the ices pat...

Well I did it...
...x. Copied all the directories onto the key. Then copied the contents of the /boot dir into the root dir. I renamed isolinux.cfg to syslinux.cfg I had some problems because syslinux did not like the minirt24.gz file. I booted to a windows box and unzipped the minirt24.gz into miniroot.img and *BLAMMO* it booted knoppix! Just like the cd... I did have to fuss with the bios boot order.. ScottP

duqu
There's an article on slashdot about the Duqu team wiping all their intermediary c&c servers on 20 Oct. Interestingly, the report says that they were all (?) not only linux, but CentOS. There's a suggestion of a zero-day exploit in openssh-4.3, but both the original article, and Kaspersky labs (who have a *very* interesting post of the story) consider that highly unlikely, and the
