Printer Question
Hi! Not sure that this is the right list, but has anyone had any experience setting up a Konica Minolta Bizhub printer to use ldap authentication through samba? I know that the bizhub 250 that i have has built-in authentication, but it's really ridiculous when using the official linux drivers (they only support a one number username and a one number password e.g. 1:5 or similar). And since I'm...

Printing options for a network printer
I'm using Wine 1.3.3. with Ubuntu 10.04. In Ubuntu there is a network printer installed with a Linux printer driver for Konica Minolta Bizhub C203. The printer works perfect. If I print from OpenOffice (Linux-Version), I can choose different options, may be which printer-slot (A4, A3) colour or black, the print quality - same options like a printer installed in WINXP - but that's in Ubuntu. If I try to print a OpenOffice document,...

Asterisk Fax Receive - how to get the remoteheader?
Hi, I am using asterisk 11.8 in combination with spandsp to send and receive T38 Faxes. All works fine, but I do not know how to get the remoteheader from the fax I receive. When I send a fax, there are Faxopts to set the localstationid and the headerinfo, but for receiving, there seems to only exist the Faxopts remotestationid but for sure on any fax I receive there is a remoteheaderinfo

3.5.1 64 bit windows printing is working a bit
...a correct setup successfully. So be sure, everything is plugged in, I tried to turn it off and on again, I RTFM'ed and so on. Here is my most successfull attempt to get the printservice going on 3.5.1 and windows 7 46 bit in an AD 2008R3 environment: I installed the driver (Konica Minolta bizhub 250) using the print management console on a windows 7 client host -> success: the driver-files are visible on the samba machine in the x64 directory. The printerdriver does not show up in the advanced tab of the printer properties. [printserver] # rpcclient -U<uid> -c 'setdriver...

Samba, AD and devices compatibility...
I'm trying to test/move some of my LDAP-enabled devices from my actual OpenLDAP server(s) to my new samba AD domain. For now, i'm poking with printers, and i'm testing a Konica-Minolta BizHub C224e. Defining user autentication to external source, i can set (between LDAP, NTLM, NDS, ...) 'Active Directory', and i can/must provide the domain naime. After that, DNS and kerberos seems to work, but actual auth no: 1 0.000000 10.5.1.202 -> 10.5.1.25 TCP 74 51004→88 [SYN...

Samba, AD and devices compatibility...
Mandi! Andrew Bartlett via samba In chel di` si favelave... Ok, i coma back to an old thread, because vendor finally reply. Little fast-rewind: i own some Konica-Minolta BizHub multifunction printers/copiers, and i need to ''bind'' it to my new AD domain. But authentication does not work, seems bacause that printer try to use SASL over plain LDAP (no SSL nor TLS). After writing to the vendor (ahem, writing to my local reseller, that write to the vendor)...

cups printing to a remote network
Everyone, I have an need to be able to print to an HP1320 that is usb connected to a Fedora 17 desktop on a remote network from a Centos 5.8 cups print server on an internal network. The desktop is in a remote network that belongs to to a different client than the one owning the cups print server. The F17 usb HP1320 connection works fine, and I can also get the F17 system to poll the cups
