Samba joins win2k domain but can't authenticate
...hout any problems. But if I change the config to read security=domain it prompts the user for a username and password. If I change it to security=server it does not prompt for user names. I did some searching in the list came up with a few emails and this website http://www.sugoi.org/bits/index.php?bit_id=10 but still no change. Joined domain CH...

Any help on solving this puzzle would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks! P.S. I've also included a dump from testparm following the log file. # nmbd...
