CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT=y possible in Dom0 kernel?
HI, Is it possible to specify CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT=y in the Dom0 kernel? It seems that it is forbidden as it is not a menu option in make menuconfig and gets removed if I manually add it to the .config. I want to run a sound server on Dom0 and am having problems with xruns at present, so need to be able to run a preemptive kernel. Thanks, Chris _______________________________________________

Joined search returns NIL ids
...and brings back results, however the ID of every asset is nil, which is then rendered as 4 (why is this?). This means that all the show/edit/destroy links in my list view don''t work. Every other attribute of the assets is retrieved correctly. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks, Chris Birkinshaw -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Bluetooth phone as SIP handset?
...? Chris, I will take your $100.00 bounty :-D I am using a bluetooth headset with firefly and my laptop right now. Their softphone works well with asterisk. All you have to do is pair the headset to your computer, and set in the options to use the bluetooth. Mine works well. -Linn Chris Birkinshaw wrote: > > I know people are working on using a bluetooth phone as an extra line > to send a receive calls through asterisk, but is anyone working on > using a bluetooth phone as a handset - i.e. using it to dial calls and > talk though asterisk? > > I would easily give upt...

I appreciate this is basic stuff but can''t seem to find the answer anywhere using Google. If someone could point me in the direction of some documentation on this I would be very appreciative. If I have a collection as follows: @stuff = Stuff.find_by_type(''new'') And I then want to add something onto it, how can I add to this collection? Additionally how could I go

Attributes for a model which are excluded from DB?
If I want to do this but not save to the database, how can I go about it? things.each do |thing| changed = someotherqueryresult thing.update_attribute :testattrib, changed end Essentially I want to create a collection called things with some extra attributes that are not saved into the database, as they are just used for sorting in a view and should not be saved (in fact saving them wastes

Add extra data to objects in an instance variable?
I am building an issue log with models: issues (belongs_to :user, has_many :comments) comments (belongs_to :issues, belongs_to :user) users (has_many :comments, has_many :issues) In the list view for the issues I wanted to print the time it was last updated. This should come from the most recent comment added, or if there are no comments added we fall back to the creation time of the issue:
