Finding points with equal probability between normal distributions

Is there a way in R to compute/estimate the point(s) x where the density of the
two distributions cross (ie where x has equal probability of belonging to

Does Samba 3 work in a Windows 2008 R2 with NO WINS and NO NETBIOS
...or is moving to Windows 2008R and is about to
switch off the last Windows 2003 domain controller.
He also wants to switch off the compatible WINS and NETBIOS off as well.
Does samba 3 work in this environment or do I need to tell him to keep
then working?
Cheers,
Andrew

Rsync on webserver
Here is the problem.
I have a primary and a secondary web server. I want to sync the home
directory paths on the primary server with the secondary server. I am
fairly ignorant to rsync and wondering what is the best method of doing this
and how would I call the procedure from say a "perl script".
Both Servers are FreeBSD 4.2 and there are actually two directorys I want
to sync 1)

important caveat with Rsync on NT and dayligt savings time
Hi,
just a small warning about something that has, like we experienced just
last weekend, great consequences.
We rsync more than 20 Netware servers through a mapping on an NT machine to
central Rsync destination servers (also NT). Last weekend our clock changed
to Daylight Savings Time. It appears that NT changes the file stamps on
NTFS volumes accordingly (Q129574 on their suppor site). This

smbclient returns error when NetBIOS disabled on Windows Server
...t an ERROR code.
For information I am having problems with Horde Project software (Web
Application Framework using PHP) to access files on a windows server
(gollem), since the smb driver checks the error code from "smbclient"
before it continues.
Thanks,
Andrew

Multiple imputation using mice with "mean"
...#39;t find much theory about
the "mean" imputation method.
Are there any good papers to explain the background behind each imputation
option in MICE?
I would really appreciate any comments on the above, as my understanding of

Old versions of gcc do not have -mfunction-return=thunk
7 and 8 have it.

Using predict.glm for classification
...e? If it has a value of
say 0.42 does it mean that the probability that the response is "a" is 0.42 and
that the response is "b" 1-0.42 (so for a threshold of 0.5 the class would be
"b") ?
I would appreciate any comments or help on this.
