Hi all, Does anyone know what the status is of Hideaki Yoshifuji's IPv6 ACL patch? He's submitted this twice now, and that was 3 months ago. Judging by the comments made when this was submitted, it's apparently not understood how important this is. - if you IPv6 on your rsync server, you can not secure it with "hosts allow". - if you enable IPv6 on an rsync server

...the worst case I'll check all code by myself to ensure it but in this case the application won't force programmers to take it in consideration which is what I am really looking for. I am looking for an LDAP client to manage the LDAP server that we are going to use when we switch to samba3. A Windows variety would be OK, a web interface would be even better. Just looking for suggestions to try. Thanks, Brandon

Hi all, Just wondering what Samba administration tool is the most frequently used ? What tool do admins use daily ? I've tried Cmd line / Samba tools, Swat, Webmin, LAM... and still haven't found a full-featured one and *user-friendly* one... Many Thanks :) Ganael.
