add'l info: x86_64 reproducible server PANIC with latest kernel
...which s/he could crash without taking down the
real server. Only then I discovered that VMware server has a memory
limitation to 3600MB (I guess because it's not a 64bit application).
I see exactly the same crash with a non-tainted kernel.

centroid representation and MANOVA
...have seen, in a recent
paper, people doing a MANOVA and representing it in a centroid plot
(they used Matlab to do it).
I would like to do the same with R, but don't know what to do after the
MANOVA... and nothing can be found in the Archives.
Any suggestions?

Applying a function
...divial 1 it would be 3/5 = 0.6. I
want to write a function that does this for all the individuals in my
dataframe, i.e. around 400 individuals (this is why I want to write a
function, it would be too long by hand)

How to compute p-Values
Hello.
How can I compute the Bootstrap p-Value for a one- and two sided test, when I have a bootstrap sample of a statistic of 1000 for example?
My hypothesis are for example:
1. Two-Sided: H0: mean=0 vs. H1: mean!=0
2. One Sided: H0: mean>=0 vs. H1: mean<0
I hope you can help me
Thanks in advance

Andreas
