Multivariate Regression Trees: how to identify sample units?
Dear friends,
I am sudying the mvpart package, that implements Multivariate
Regression Trees, aiming at applying it to a biogeographical dataset of
tree speces in southern South America.
My doubt is how to access plot identities after the tree is produced.
For us it is rather important, but I could not find them with neither
'summary(fit)'[where fit is the object containing the mvpart(...)
command] nor just 'fit&...

Logistic regression goodness of fit tests

Now if I add the singularity criterion and make the value smaller than the default of 1E-7 to 1E-9 or 1E-12 which is the default in calibrate, it works. Why is that?
Not being a statistician but a biogeographer using regression as a tool, I don't really understand what is happening here.
Does changing the tol variable, change how I should interpret goodness-of-fit results or other evaluations of the models created?
I've included a summary of the data below (in case it might be helpful) with a...

autologistic modelling in R
Hi,
I have spatially autocorrelated data (with a binary response variable and
continuous predictor variables). I believe I need to do an autologistic
model, does anyone know a method for doing this in R?
Many thanks
