Bug#404538: not binNMU safe, etc
Package: xen-3.0
Version: 3.0.3-0-2
Severity: serious
This source package is not binNMU safe, which I understand is an RC bug.
If the changelog, or any of several other files are changed, the build
process wants to rebuild debian/control, and tries to use files from
linux-support-2.6.18-1 to do it. This fails, since that package is a)
not a build dependency b) not in the archive under that name

Bug#404538: xen-3.0: not binNMU safe
I am seeing the same problem reported in #404538. Interestingly it only
fails the first time which makes sense if you look at the code in
debian/rules:
========================================================================
debian/control debian/rules.gen: $(CONTROL_FILES)
if [ -f debian/control ] && [ -f debian/control.md5sum ] && [ -f
debian/rules.gen ]; then \

Bug#404538: downgrade
severity 404538 normal
thanks
<vorlon> joeyh: binNMU support isn't RC, broken binNMU packages that get uploaded to the archive are. :)
<vorlon> at least as the general rule

mips64el stat/time/…? problem
Hi Ben,
>Thorsten: I've attached a patch which I tested briefly in QEMU. Let me
>know if this works for you.
sorry for the delay. I was able to test this on eller today.
To reproduce the issue, this was needed, because the value
read was a nanosecond field and so the test didn?t always fail:
(sid_mips64el-dchroot)tg at eller:~$ while sleep 0.1; do :>b; ./mksh -c 'test a -nt

Bug#646694: xen: depends on liblzma2 on amd64
...h a dependency on libgnutls26
and libbz2-1.0, as they're apparently not built in a minimal
environment. Please either add the relevant packages to Build-Depends,
or fix the package to build predictably.
Setting as serious because liblzma2 is replaced by liblzma5, and #404538
means I'm not binNMUing.
Cheers,
Julien

Notes from Xen BoF at Debconf15
Xen upstream BoF
================
We had a discussion around Xen and packaging at Debian's annual developer
conference (Debconf) a few weeks back:
https://summit.debconf.org/debconf15/meeting/279/xen-upstream-bof/
These are my notes, I think there is probably stuff of interest to most
distro people, not just Debian folks.
The session was scheduled in a small, out of the way, room. Around 2

[PATCH] Re: klibc barfs on m68k syscall interface
tag 334917 = patch
thanks
Hi,
I?ve fixed the m68k syscall of klibc and made it able to use
six-argument syscalls like mmap2. However, I could not yet
fully test it (only mostly; opendir() specifically fails) due
to: http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=47533
@m68k porters: Please have a look at the gcc bug as well.
@klibc: Please apply the patch, it?s better than what we have,
