deleting a file
Has anyone observed this behavior when deleting a file? I had a user map a Samba share to his WIN2K machine and use the Windows Explorer delete function to delete a rather large file (600M). Windows prompted him in the usual manner: 'Are you sure you want to delete this file?' (By the way it was the actual "delete" warning, not the recycle bin warning.) In the Explorer window,

Noob SASS error (permission denied)

Version naming to use in a RoR proyect
Hi everyone, I would need to know if RoR follow any policy for version naming; I mean, something like linux´s kernel does or similar. For instance, kernel uses numbers separated in groups by dots (i.e. pre 2.6 - AA.BB.CC). These groups mean differents fixtures, bugs fixed... I will start a big proyect from scratch with rails and I want to choose now a standart to use and avoid future problems

What are the standard best practices for sharing your rails application on the web?
