problem with win98 and passwords
...as able to get server 2 to
show up in Network Neighborhood in the client machines. When I click on the icon of server 2 I get a dialog coming up that asks for a password. No matter what password I give it I get an error. (one other clue maybe, when
it asks for a password the dialog says resource: \\BIGDOG\IPC$ - BIGDOG is the name of the server). I created a user on server 2 that has the same user name and password that I'm logged into the client on and I get the same behavior. In frustration I copied the smb.conf from server 1 to server 2 and

Logging Ports
Hello,
I am using Shorewall version 2.0.1 with kernel 2.4.20. Nightly,
LogWatch emails a portion of the logs for my review. I notice that
there are tons of dropped packets from port 445, somedays as many as
7,000. See sample below:
>From 24.226.192.22 - 2 packets
To 24.227.147.124 - 2 packets
Service: microsoft-ds (tcp/445) (Shorewall:net2all:DROP:,eth0,none) - 2 packets
My question is,

Voicemail and MS Exchange Synchronization
We have a customer considering migrating from a large Nortel PBX with a
third-party voicemail system to Asterisk but one of the features they
really like is the automatic synchronization of voicemail between
Exchange and their voicemail system -- delete a message from the
voicemail system and it is deleted from their email inbox and vice versa.
