Hi all, I have two vectors (columns) called "efinal" and "efinal 2". friend, peer confusion in sip.conf
Hi, I'm trying to create a link between two PBXs. One is Asterisk 1.4.15, the other is an unknown 3rd party PBX. In my internal testing, beween two A*k servers, I found that if I created two sip accounts from the same IP, one as peer and one as user (intending to give an -IN and -OUT setup), then inbound calls always seemed to route via the -OUT account and failed. My fix was to use type=friend, which seemed to make sense and be ok. N...

r-project.org SSL certificate issues
Yes and no... At least as I understand it (Disclaimer: There are things I am pretty sure that I don't understand properly, somewhere in the Bermuda triangle beween CA bundles, TLS protocols, and Server-side settings), there are two sided to this: One is that various *.r-project.org servers got hit by a fumble where a higher-up certificate in the chain of trust expired before the *.r-project.org one. This was fixed by changing the certificate chain on each s...

win32-process 0.3.1 is out
Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that I released 0.3.1 last night. This addresses Bug #712 and incorporates Patches #1087 and #1137 (thanks Aslak). I''ll try to get an open4 implementation out this weekend, though I noticed that Aslak''s patch is different than what Park originally had, so I''ll have to decide which I prefer, or if they can be blended somehow.

libvirt-bin MOSTLY fails to create default virtual network
...he middle of loading of these modules, that is why 3 scenarios can be observed. That is why I have added: cp /proc/modules /home/wsadmin2/modules1 cp /proc/modules /home/wsadmin2/modules2 to 'pre-start' and 'post-start' parts respectively of /etc/init/libvirt-bin.conf. Of course, beween execution of - pre-start part - exec /usr/sbin/libvirtd -d - post-start part other kernel modules can be loaded, so we can not be sure which additional modules in file 'modules2' were indeed loaded before libvirtd was actually started. Here are my observations: Scenatio 1. 33 (fixed) modul...

Blockpull while domain is shutoff
Hi Libvirt, Is there a command that performs the same operation as blockpull while a domain is shutoff? I have a backing chain base <-- A <-- B that I would like to shorten to base <-- B It seems like blockpull B, setting --base <path-to-base> does this, but only when the domain is running. Thanks! Sincerely, Roger Jin -------------- next part -------------- An HTML

agi script for german date / time
...i script. (I could switch to german, but it was not correct) be sure to use the sound files from: http://www.stadt-pforzheim.de/asterisk/dateien/ast_prompts_de.tgz (which are of very good quality) (only works from 2000 to 2019 (-:, which should be enough for the moment ) I adjusted some sleeps beween the digits to make it sound more natural. feel free to send me your suggestions (it's my first agi script ever), PS: is there a sound file which contains "the" ? /sebastian ---------------------SNIP------------------------ #!/usr/bin/perl use strict; use Time::HiRes qw/sleep/; m...

strange performance issue
...omething quite strange; with ~1000 calls between two asterisk servers, generated with [looptest] exten => _X.,1,GotoIf($[ ${EXTEN} > 1000 ]?pickup:dial) exten => _X.,n(pickup),Answer exten => _X.,n,Echo exten => _X.,n(dial),Dial(SIP/looptest/$[ ${EXTEN} + 1]) ...ping-pong dialing beween two servers. On one of the servers, system- and user load was low and fine, but on the other, system load was around 50%(!). After a little headscratching and debugging, i found this from oprofile: http://pastebin.ca/39007, and mr Underwood asked me if I was seeing excessive network traffic...

Question for Gurus: Sortable Lists
...lements are created and a Sortable is created. ( I can call its serialize method. ) The problem is that the list will not sort. I can drag the items in the list but when I change the order, they simply revert back to their original positions. I''m guessing that it''s a conflict beween the Droppable and Sortable. I''m I fundamentally headed down the wrong path? It seems that if I have 2 sortable lists I will not have as much functionality as I cannot peform my function onDrop. I''ve posted code if anyone would care to take a look. There''s quite...

This should be easy: What happens when the Calling Party hangs up
svn trunk 31497 For the life of me, I can't get this :) I want to be able to catch the situation where the calling party hangs up *before* the call is connected to the called party. My dialplan is thus: macro DialExternal(exten) { Dial(Zap/G3/${exten},120,g,M(connected)); goto DialResult|r${HANGUPCAUSE}|1; Hangup(); }; But the goto dialresult is not executed: Executing

PBQP register allocation and copy propagation
...Now the reduction order is arbitrary and local costs aren't propagated unlike R1 and R2. In fact, there is a rule "RM" proposed by Buchwald [1] that seeks to fix a very similar case to this. Porting RM to that situation would basically say "always fulfill this affinity" (beween A and B). Of course that's the wrong choice, if you really need the copy. Best regards, Sebastian What do you think? K-means result - variance between cluster
Hi, I like to present the results from the clustering method k-means in terms of variances: within and between Cluster. The k-means object gives only the within cluster sum of squares by cluster, so the between variance part is missing, for calculation the following table, which I try to get. Number of | Variance within | Var between | Var total | F-value Cluster k | cluster | cluster

Setting up a routed DMZ
Hello all, I''ve read the shorewall guides and browsed through the mailing lists, but I haven''t been able to find out if the following is possible or not using shorewall. Our provider has given us 16 IPs + 4 in a separate range for our uplink. I would like to replace that router with a Linux box running shorewall with three interfaces. I want the DMZ to be a standard, routed

RE: Setting up a routed DMZ -CLOSED
...t tells the firewall to respond to arp requests on one interface to hosts that are actually on another interface, so that they may be found. So, give your dmz hosts public ips, configure the firewall to proxy arp requests to the dmz for those hosts, and then use standard rules to allow traffic beween net loc and dmz. I would recommend not modifying the default policy. The way you have it means that nothing will be logged, which is not helpful for trouble shooting. Let me know if this makes sense, if not, I can point you to or write more specific examples of configurations. Alex Martin htt...
