assertion on deliver (1.1.beta10)
Hi,
I'm testing version 1.1.beta10 and getting these assertions on deliver:
file index-transaction.c: line 54 (index_transaction_finish_rollback):
assertion failed: (t->mail_ref_count == 0)
This was after an upgrade from a 1.0 release candidate.
If you need I can try and reproduce this in a more controled environment

Changes since beta9:
- dotlock_use_excl=yes is now the default. I think this should work in
all NFS setups that are in use nowadays. O_EXCL has worked since NFSv3.
- fs quota: Added "noenforcing" option

1.1.beta10 pop3 process hangs with 100% CPU
Hello,
we have observed pop3 process which got stuck consuming all available CPU.
It seems that it happened because of some kind of abnormal POP3 connection
termination. Here is strace info for this process:

minor issue - dovecot -n output with 1.1.beta11
Hello,
when running diff for 'dovecot -n' outputs from beta10 and beta11(for the same
config file), I noticed that 'dovecot -n' beta11 output does not show anymore
the following parameters, which are set to non-default values(and
which 'dovecot -a' shows):
login_processes_count
login_max_processes_count
first_valid_uid

More clear statement about the question of how to generate regression matrix with correlation matrix
...e7, Number 3, Page 397-416. In order to give a clear statement of quesion I copy the following paragraph from the article: We compare the bridge model with the OLS, the lasso and the ridge in a simulation of a linear regression model of 30 observations and 10 regressors Y = beta0 + beta1*x1 + ... + beta10*x10 + epsilon, where epsilon follows a normal distribution with mean mu and standard deviation sigma. Ten regression matrices {X}m, m=1,...,10, are generated from an orthonormal matrix X of dimension 30*10 with different between-column pairwise correlation coefficients {rho}m generated from uniform...

Stale NFS file handle and duplicated messages
We recently moved all our users from the Washington IMAP server to
Dovecot. There has been a substantial improvement in performance, but
some users are reporting duplicate messages, and we see 'Stale NFS file
handle' errors in the syslog. Does anyone know what would cause this ?
The errors relate to the index file, eg.

v1.1.beta11 released
...hings left in my TODO are:
- Squat indexes should handle expunges
- Lucene indexes are broken
- See if \recent flag handling could be fixed for maildir/mbox (it
works for dbox though)
- Some other minor things which I'll do if I have time, but won't block
v1.1.0 release.
Changes since beta10:
- One major performance issue found and fixed. This was the main reason
why we weren't yet in release candidate stage.
- configure --with-package now gives an error if it can't find the
necessary libs/headers for the package. Use --with-package=auto for the
old behavior.
- Memory leak...

1.0 roadmap
I've read about one month back this list's messages. I've still 216
messages from this year marked as "unread" which I should look into more
(+258 older ones). Also I've 180 "unread" messages in my INBOX also
which might contain something useful. So those messages could still
contain something that should be added to this list.
Anyway looking at my current

Re: ocfs2 and configfs.ko..fixed...but gnuparted has issues....
I was able to get the source code for ocfs2 and compile it. This worked and created the necessary .ko files
Now I have to figure out why gnu parted 1.6.15 has bugs. when I try a partprobe on a partitioned firewire maxtor drive
mount -t ocfs2 /dev/sdb1 /u01/oradata/orcl
It says no such device....
Any ideas anyone?...

[RFC] New shadow paging code
We (Michael Fetterman, George Dunlap and I) have been working over the
last while on a full replacement for Xen''s shadow pagetable support.
This mail contains some design notes, below; a patch against
xen-unstable, giving a snapshot of the current state of the new shadow
code, is at http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~tjd21/shadow2.patch
Comments on both are welcome, although the code is not
