The renaming had some completely unexpected consequences; the new filenames now contain the full pathname (including backslashes), plus other illegal characters (colons). Hi all - Hope this isn't too OT - I've been playing with the file extention mapper VFS module for samba (http://file-ext-map.sourceforge.net/) to play flac files on my Audiotron. The above module takes any *.flac file and presents it as a *.wav to the client, and decodes on the fly when the file is read.
