System keeps going into FSD mode after power on
...I wouldn't have to wait a long time. See all relevant config below. First of all, what seems to happen is that UPS gets to the low battery state and the system immediately goes into the shutdown, not letting the 30s timer specified in upssched.conf fire. Version 1.1.2 CHM Documentation File
I finally got around to compiling the Rails 1.1.2 Documentation into a CHM file this morning. You can download the file directly from here: http://delynnberry.com/files/rails-documentation-1-1-2.chm. Let me know if you encounter any problems with the file. -- DeLynn Berry delynn@gmail.com http://delynnberry.com

GLMMPQL and negbinomial: trouble with the X-axis in PREDICT
I'm having some difficulty with graphing outputs of a GLM model I've been working. I have count data for both my predictor (only 1) and response variables, and I have pseudoreplication which I've modeled as a random effect. The odTest() from pscl:: indicated that the negative binomial distribution fit better than Poisson, and I then proceeded by estimating theta from glm.nb. My

Have you seen the prototype for googlebenchmark integration I did in the past: https://reviews.llvm.org/D18428 <https://reviews.llvm.org/D18428> (though probably out of date for todays test-suite) +1 for copying the googlebechmark into the test-suite. XDEBUG build bots?
Thanks for noticing this, Geoff. I just landed r268050 which add a cmake option for this (and unifies XDEBUG and EXPENSIVE_CHECKS). This might make it easier to setup some build bots. CHM Documentation for Rails Version 1.0
Just wanted to let everyone know that I just posted an updated CHM file that contains documentation for Rails Version 1.0. You can read all about it here<http://www.delynnberry.com/articles/2006/02/07/rails-chm-documentation-version-1-0>. I plan to continue updating the CHM file as newer versions of Rails are announced, but I also want to finish an article that includes a rake file that will make it easy for anyone to generate the file--so be sure to watch my blog. :-)...

How to trim the front of a string?
Hey everybody! I have a problem with triming a string. I can get rid of the blank space in front and at the back of a string and even trim a string at the back. But I don't know how to do it in the front. For Example: I have a string "Blackberry" and i want to delete the first 5 characters to get just "berry".
