Windows Vista password dialog keeps coming up
...ta by the way). I have 2 other accounts and they work fine. Anything you see in the file that may be something that is stupid please point it out. SMB/NetBIOS, etc. is all relatively new to me. BTW, I've tried it without valid users and it doesn't work. The "images" and "bernardy_images" mounts work fine. VPN and NetBIOS aliases
...using the server's main NetBIOS name but I can't use any of the aliases. bind failed on port 445 socket_addr = 0.0.0.0.
Hi, I've just upgraded an old samba 3.0.23 on an old Fedora Core 5 to samba 3.5.4 using an rpm built from the source. Everything works fine, but when i start the server i get some error messages(see below). Before i start the server there is no connection (tested with lsof and fuser) on the 139 and 445 ports, smbd or nmbd aren't running. With the old version i never had this
