One username for multiple clients?
I've just got a question. I've searched extensively for an answer and can't seem to find anyone else who is even curious about this, much less an answer.
Simply put: We don't care about security at the office. Our current configuration is to have just one SMB user logged in on ALL machines. We've had a little bit of weirdness but can't pin it down.
In other words, we have

How do I disable kerberos?
HI.
I have been told that kerberos cannot be running while samba4 is. How do
I do this? I seem to have missed this on the how-to and system requirements.
I have commented out every entry in /etc/services that seems even
remotely kerberosish. I still get errors on kinit and host (from the
how-to).
I have googled until my computers are laughing at me and have posted on
every forum I can find.

Hello, I've been trying to write out the options: "defaults,barrier=1" in the /etc/fstab file on ubuntu16.04 BUT always obtain a read-only file system. So, what's new with Ubuntu Xenial Xerus? Do you keep the same fstab options? Help!

...nect all clients from our Ubuntu based server. This doesn't cause a hang/lock/or anything, the shares can be mounted right back up. But depending on the work being done at the time, it can result in a good amount of work being lost.

Problems with a new box of asterisk@home 1.3
Hello, I've recently installed Asterisk@home, i'm following step by step the "new user guide" but I cannot get my X-Lite SIP phone see my asterisk@home proxy...
I've installed in a viertual machine (vmware) and there's some problems with the Zaptel service and I think that this is why I cannot connect.
Thanks in advance.
