hello,
quick question about extlinux: I accidentally installed extlinux on
the wrong partition (I run extlinux -i somewhere beofre mounting my
usb key to somewhere). Now extlinux seems to be stuck in my main hd
partition... how do I remove extlinux from the hard drive?
I mean both the extlinux.sys file and the bits in the partition

Thanks.

multi day R run crashed - is there a log
Dear all,
I am using an R 2.10 installation on a Windows 203 server that I have no
control over. After a multi-day run I found that it was
terminated/crashed. Is there any log kept by R where I could see whether
something/what happened? The same process has been run beofre on a
smaller dataset (also at least a day of computing) without problems.
Thanks

a bug in ext3 code for 2.4.7
Hello ,
I use kernel 2.4.7 patched with corresponding ext3 patch. The problem I
have is that when I startup I get a panic in a kernel. I started
to debug util-linux and found that mount does a segmentation fault when
trying to open /etc/mtab file.
The segmentation fault ocurrs on open() call inside mtab_is_writable()
procedure:
printf("mtab_writable: pass 1\n");
