musiconhold restarts for every extension
Hello!
I've upgraded from 1.2.9 to 1.2.14 recently but experience an
unexpected behaviour with musiconhold: While in 1.2.9 musiconhold was
playing continuous on sequential extensions after a
timeout, it is restarted for every extension in 1.2.14:
;music starts
exten => 902,1,Dial(SIP/phone1@proxy.com|5|m(mymusic))
;music starts again

OT:spa942 provisioning
Hello!
Sorry for the OT-thread, but i don't know where else too ask...
Has anyone done http-provisioning of a Linksys SPA942 with client side
ssl-authentication? Where do i get the CA from?
I'm aware of the Sipura mass deployment howto on voip-info.org, but it
doesn't cover the authentification part.
Thanks

doveadm acl set negative rights not supported?
Hi all,
I'm trying to set an ACL with negative rights. I have no problems setting it with standard IMAP commands, but I'm unable to do it with the doveadm acl command.
I tried:
sudo -u vmail doveadm acl set -u "user at domain" Spam user="-user at domain" lookup
(notice the "-" before the username)
Unfortunately, this adds a (positive) ACL for the user

Excel 'save as HTML' problem with Samba 2.0
Hello,
Eversince I upgraded Samba to 2.0 version I've gotten so many calls from
the users regarding Excel 'save as HTML' problem.
What seems to be happening is that the users cannot save their Excel
spreadsheet as html file when they were able to with the previous Samba
version we had installed (Samba 1.9.18p10).
According to MS 'knowledge database', this is a known MS Excel

doveadm acl set negative rights not supported?
Hi all,
Although noone answered, I figured out how to set negative rights via doveadm. You should not prefix the username with '-' (as you should do in a normal IMAP setacl command). Instead you should specify the *rights* starting with a '-'. There are two problems with this:
1. The '-username' version runs smoothly and does not throw any errors. However, it does *not*

Bug/feature: mail fs pollution on IMAP select namespace/{non-existent}
Hi all,
I have noticed a strange behavior with dovecot (tested with 2.2.13). I use shared folders to share mailboxes between users. I have a namespace called "Accounts" that hosts the shared folder for the users (prefix Accounts/%%n/). However, When I issue an IMAP select command on a random non-existent mailbox name under "Accounts", dovecot auto-creates it and pollutes my

doveadm sis deduplicate problem
Hi all,
I'm running dovecot 2.3.7.1, with mdbox and single instance storage. I use offline deduplication like this:
mail_attachment_fs = sis-queue /mailboxes/%d/_attachments_/queue:posix
Each week I run doveadm sis deduplicate to deduplicate the mail attachments. Everything was fine until I mistakenly run doveadm sis deduplicate twice, simultaneously.
I ended up having some error messages

mmap_disable=yes not honored always
Hi all, I'm experimenting with having the mail store on a 9p file system that lacks mmap() functionality. So I disabled it in dovecot: mmap_disable = yes However, I keep getting the following error messages in my log: Oct 15 16:55:00 computer-name dovecot: imap user at domain.com[192.168.1.3] Error: mmap() failed with file
