relay help
...I set up Icecast as a relay to Broadcastify? I read the short documentation on relaying but I do not understand it completely. As Broadcastify has supplied me with a server, password, and mount point. I seems like I would simply use a single broadcast relay but I see no way to use the password.

Dovecot 1.0
Either Timo's got most of the bugs worked out or everyone is on vacation
this week (traffic on the list has been very light). Good Job!

Maildir
I've spent most of the morning looking through the archives. Great
information, however, I'm still unable to get my issues figured out. I
believe I am missing something quite simple. From what I have read, I
want to use maildir, mainly because it will allow the use of subfolders
for my clients. My clients are running Mail.app (mostly) on 10.3
clients. I'm planning on using imap

Any suggestions?

Dovecot stable slow
A few days ago I installed dovecot stable to replace uw-imap. The
install went well and all boxes were converted ok. When accessing the
new imap server though, certain operations seem much slower, in
particular, moving mail between boxes is very slow, and I have received
several complaints from users that the mail server has slowed down. I
can't figure out what the slow point is as maildir

strip realms and force lowercasing of usernames?
Is it possible for dovecot to strip realms and force lowercasing of usernames?
We have a lot of dumb customers who try logging in to pop3 with crap like
UsERNAmE and bla at nonexistentdomain.com. All our usernames are lowercase
and we have no realms. Trying to get hundreds of customers to fix this is
hard and is a significant and costly support burden.
It would be nice if dovecot could handle

quickly. I'd ideally like it to happen immediately (without any
manual intervention) but I don't think this is possible.
Thoughts?

fxruby gem install problem
Lyle,
Following up on your suggestion...
"You might want to follow-up on the fxruby-users mailing list at some
point; sometimes FXRuby questions can get lost in the shuffle here due
to the high volume of messages on ruby-talk!''
I''ve installed libfox-1.6-dev, and after that attempted install of
fxruby, with this result:
$ sudo gem install fxruby
