Re: about [ #302111 ] newhidups support for Belkin
I have checked in a cleaned-up version of patch #302111 (Belkin support) into CVS. See cvs diff -uN -r before_PSE_2 -r after_PSE_2 to check the difference. Here is the CHANGES entry: Tue Sep 13 20:50:14 UTC 2005 / Peter Selinger <selinger@users.sourceforge.net> - newhidups: added Belkin support. Also added some new variables and instant commands...

Belkin and newhidups (was: Belkin F6C550-AVR UPS)
Zaid, I have a Belkin F6C800-UNV which has both a serial and USB connector. The serial connection is already working with the Belkinunv driver. I will connect via the USB and then compare both sets of variables. This should allow me to correlate and shed some light on the meaning of many of Belkin's non-standard...

Old thread on belkin
Greetings all; Back to a thread I started back in May of 2008 I think. I never did get this belkin and nut to talking, so I thought I'd make another run at it. Trying to run the driver as the user gene, I'm getting this: --------------------------- [root at coyote ups]# su gene -c "/sbin/belkin -D -a myups" Network UPS Tools - Belkin Smart protocol driver 0.21 (2.2.2) debug le...

Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK won't stay powered off
Hello, I'm using nut to control a Belkin F6C1500-TW-RK ups (vendor ID 050d, product ID 0751). I'm using the belkin driver and a serial connection for communications. The host computer is running Debian. I have things configured such that both my computer and the ups shut off when the battery level reaches a critical level, and ever...

Belkin F6C550-AVR UPS
Hi, I got a Belkin F6C550-AVR UPS today and was trying to get it working with NUT, I used the "hidups" driver and got some data out of it, mainly the following: battery.charge: 100 battery.runtime: 120 driver.name: hidups driver.parameter.port: /dev/usb/hiddev0 driver.version: 2.0.0 ups.mfr: Unknown ups.mo...

Nut problems with Centos and Belkin UPS
Hi Arjen My apologies fro drifting off topic in the other mailing list...:-) On the bottom of the Belkin UPS unit - is the model number: F6C120auUNV The "au" is for Australia I think. "man belkinunv" states that F6C120-UNV is supported - and I assumed that the "au" would not prevent this. I plugged in the USB to gather the information you requested. My intention was to...

Belkin F6C100-UNV + newhidups
...hoping that was the problem. My sincere apologies if this has gone through and I just haven't seen it (could someone mail me if they are aware of what my problem is). If I'm just being flat annoying, please let me know that too =) ------------------------------- I've been running a Belkin F6C100-UNV for a couple of years, and just recently saw that nut might work with it. I'll fully admit the following: 1) I'm not completely certain that my UPS is working properly (I think the batteries are failing [which is why I'd like this to work]) 2) I'm running debian Etch wi...

nut with Belkin "Active Battery Backup" UPS (BU30 series)
Hi, I bought a Belkin Active Battery Backup UPS (http://www.belkin.com/uk/activebattery/) yesterday with a USB port and hoped it would work with nut. The device will show up in /proc/bus/usb/devices as a Cypress Semiconductor USB to Serial. It creates /dev/hiddev0 (and this disappears when the UPS is unplugged). I'...

Add USB vendor/device id for Belkin F6C120-UNV
I just moved my UPS over from serial to USB and found that I needed to add it to the hotplug USB list to make things work. Belkin F6C120-UNV - Bus 002 Device 004: ID 050d:0912 Belkin Components It seems to be working OK on 2.0.4 with newhidups. Attached is a patch which I think should add the appropriate device id's in the right places to the trunk code. Jon -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachme...
