Problem using SPA-2000 behind NAT
Hello all, I have a new Sipura SPA-2000 that I am trying to configure beind a NAT. The SPA is able to register to the asterisk server without a problem and the SPA can make calls to other extension that are not behind a NAT. However, when I try to call the SPA from another extension, the extension connected to the SPA rings, the user at the SPA answers, and there is no a...

SIP URI Dialplan?
I've got soft phone that allows me to dial SIP URI's. I'd like to route these calls through a provider to be completed, because I'm beind a NAT box and doing it directly doesn't work. Right now I've got an extension defined like this: Dial(IAX2/${FWDUSERID}:${FWDPASSWD}@${FWDSERVER}/**356<username>) This will connect a call to FWD and call a user at FWD. It works nicely. What I'd like to do is write a dialplan tha...

Ferret and Rails transaction
Hi, following the discussion about acts_as_ferret on the Rails mailinglist, there was an issue about transactions, which could result in beind the database and ferret out of sync. I have taken a different approach from acts_as_ferret trying to resolve the transaction problem. Instead of adding things to the ferret index in the model, I have added it in the controller. I have only the create part for now and it''s very rough, but i...

16 KHz clip-off?
Hello, congratulations to the Ogg Vorbis team - RC2 sounds good. But... RC2 in 128 kbps mode seems to clip off all frequencys beyond 16 KHz. On the tracks I tested Beta 4 gave response even beyond 18 KHz. Some testings on a randomly chosen track: (other tracks gave similar results) Artist: Judas Priest Album: Jugulator Title: Bullet Train Beta4: 127 kbps, ~ 18 KHz (!) RC2: 132 kbps (!), ~ 16

undefined method stupidity
I put some code in a before_save callback in the model file to alter some fields that have dependencies in the DB. I''d like to call a method in the controller file but I continually get undefined method errors. I have specified Controller::methodname as well to no avail. What am I missing? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

...hen win2k-pcB is on 10.1.1.x, it can connect to linux-samba. however, when win2k-pcB is behind the aironet (and using 192.168.200.2 as an address) it can't connect to linux-samba. Specifically the error I get is \\10.1.1.2 The network path was not found. At the same time win2k-pcB when it's beind the aironet has no problems connecting to the shares on win2k-pcA. There is NAT going on on the aironet device, but it doesn't seem to affect the win2k-win2k connection, but i'm not sure if that's a problem. I did use a sniffer (on the linux box) to see win2k-pcA (using the NATted add...
