Asterisk as a dedicated Analog PSTN gateway
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has successfully used Asterisk as a dedicated
Analog PSTN gateway to take the place of, for example, a Mediatrix 1204 or
an 8 port model?
Basically, I am thinking of using a Linksys SPA9000 as the PBX and just need
an Analog PSTN gateway for 4 to 8 FXO lines. It does not sound like the
Mediatrix 1204 does a very good job and I figure I can build a much more

Though of course the people promoting this misinformation don't want

Phabricator -> GitHub PRs?
Then perhaps those opposed could suggest how to use Phabricator/Arcanist so
that I don't throw my keyboard through my monitor?

[LLVMdev] ScalarEvolution, HowManyLessThans question for step > 1
Hi,
I have a question about some code in ScalarEvolution.cpp, in the function
HowManyLessThans. Specifically, this function returns CouldNotCompute if
the iteration step is greater than one even when the NoWrap flags are set
(if the step goes past the limit and wraps). Here's the comment:

With Ogg it can be very reliable, at least timing-wise. Everything else
depends on correct metadata of the source files, of course.

Proposing a llvm-patch helper script in-tree to create/apply patches without arc
I'd rather we decided on whether to accept GitHub PRs or not first (in the
other thread). I would bet that everyone who has troubles with arc / is not
allowed to use arc would happily use GitHub PRs instead.
Worst case scenario if the community decides that we don't want to accept
GitHub PRs then this sort of script would be a useful time sink.
Cheers,
-Neil.

[LLVMdev] Finding safe thread suspension points while JIT-ing (was: Add pass run listeners to the pass manager.)
...this discussion. Either way, the JIT should determine the threading model and be given a C API that allows configuring and scheduling those threads. As you correctly said, if we hypothetically implement a parallel pass manager mode that breaks some JITs, then clients will need to opt-in. We are not beholden to implement this callback in that mode. We just need to make that clear.

Net::LDAP 0.0.3 released, adds TLS encryption
We''re pleased to announce version 0.0.3 of Net::LDAP, the first
pure-Ruby LDAP library. Net::LDAP intends to be a feature-complete
LDAP client which can access as much as possible of the functionality
of the most-used LDAP server implementations. This library does
not wrap any existing native-code LDAP libraries, creates no
Ruby extensions, and has no dependencies external to Ruby.

Problems installing tibble (ggplot2) in R running Ubuntu 14.04
Hi,
I am unable to install tibble, a required package for ggplot2 in R. I am
running R (version 3.3.2 ) in RStudio (version 1.0.44). My OS is ubuntu

I get the same error when running R from the terminal.
Any help would be gretly appreciated.
Kind regards,

I'd like to suggest adding history to status-json.xsl or to reduce the
size of the json to the bare minimum that a Web base mediaplayer might need
Add a new one at http://127.0.0.1:8000/playing-json.xsl?mount=/live

[PATCH] Fix performance problems with mprotect()
While working on a database scaling problem using a SAP database test suite we discovered that these enterprise level large shared memory databases are very heavy users of mprotect(), to the extent that the performance overhead in current Xenolinux impacts scaling beyond a few cpus quite badly. A single cpu run under Xen has a nominal impact, but scaling out to 8 cpus results in a performance of
