Running specs for a plugin - undefined method ''define'' for object
I''m trying to write specs for a plugin I''m developing named audit_fu, and
I''m running into a problem which I can''t get past it. I''ve got the same
specs setup in the main rails app, and everything works fine there, it''s

Controller specs not shareable?
Hi
I just wondered if there was a reason why Rails controller specs are
not shareable? eg
describe "All XHR POSTs to /gap/calculate_quote", :shared => true do
controller_name :gap
# ...
end
describe "XHR POST /gap/calculate_quote with valid details" do
it_should_behave_like "All XHR POSTs to /gap/calculate_quote"
# ...
end

Can''t delete app/helpers
I would like to remove some unused helpers from the app/helpers dir, but
when I do so my specs fail.
Why is this? I don''t see where those helpers are referenced within the
tests. Is there a way to delete these unused files?

I''m new to RSpec and I am trying to get it running with the caboo.se sample
rails app.
I installed the current version of rspec with rspec_on_rails
I tried to run rake spec but received:

Coding standards and whitespace
Recently as a result of using Git I''ve noticed a number of
inconsistencies in the RSpec codebase with respect to whitespace
(mixed line endings, mixed use of spaces and tabs for indentation,
and trailing whitespace at the end of lines). I never would have
noticed, but Git produces nice colorized diff output which highlights
these kinds of inconsistencies.
