...analog lines (4 of them) coming into an old KX1232 pbx. I have those lines forwarded to a T1 card in the KX1232 going over to my T1 card, it then uses IAX going over to my REAL asterisk pbx. (these steps are there for testing and other items) Anyway after a 10 minute call asterisk gives a faint beep, beep, beep and then hangs up the line. Is there a parameter someplace I have missed? Auto hangup after 10 minutes? Or is there something else that can cause this to hangup. It has done it multiple times now... THanks, Jerry

I still have problems with beeps and clicks on all my calls. I have polycom sip phones. I also can hear the beeps and clicks on some of my messages, which would lead me to believe that it is more of a decoding problem on the zaptel card. Any ideas? Thanks Sean Garland

...tel mb and all has been well. Today I thought it would be okay to reboot so that the latest kernel was running - i.e move from 128.2.1 to 128.4.1 release. The system passes POST fine, grub passes control to the 128.4.1 kernel and the boot process is under way. after some 30 secs the system starts beeping - continuously. After I hooked up a monitor I find that udev does not come up with OK and thats when the system starts the beep beep beep ...... So, just today I noticed a problem with kernel 2.6.18-194 (CentOS 5.5) on several Intel DP965LT systems; the system beeps (such as terminal beeps) are no longer passed through to the external speakers. This is a problem because in our situation the boxes are distant from their monitor/keyboard, the system speaker on this motherboard is extremely weak, and there are no system speaker header pins on the motherboard....
