I was looking through my o'reilly book and according to it all of the ldap inputs that would be in smb.conf are not supposed to be there in samba 3.0. How do you specify which ldap server to use and whatnot?

I installed samba 3.0.0 beta3 on FreeBSD 5.0 alpha RELEASE, with ./configure --with-ldapsam --with-quotas --prefix=/usr/local/ldapsamba, the smbd log told me this: 2003/08/07 07:37:29, 0] lib/module.c:smb_load_module(40) Error loading module '/usr/local/ldapsamba/lib/pdb/ldapsam.so': Cannot open "/usr/local/ldapsamba/lib/pdb/ldapsam.so" [2003/08/07 07:37:29, 0]

...I compile without --with-ldapsam it works fine. Any ideas? I have searched on google and the searchable mail archives for samba and I am not having any luck. I figured i would e-mail you because i send it in as a bug report because maybe you have run into this before. Thanx, Matt Bednarik
