Problems with points in plots when importing from pdf to an SVG editor
Dear R-users When trying to import graphics from an pdf-file to a Vector graphics editor (I use Inkscape, but i've confirmed the same problem on adobe products), all points in the graphics turn out as "q"s. This example displays the beaviour: pdf(file="points are weird.pdf") plot(1:5) dev.off() When importing the file to inkscape, I get five neatly arranged little "q"s. The obvious workaround would be to change the points into another plotting character, but this isn't the first time i've encountered this...

wiki.centos.org logo behaviour
...s ? When I click on the logo in upper left corner on wiki.centos.org then I get to the wiki frontpage, not the www.centos.org page!?! This is a bit redundant IMHO, I already have the "frontpage" menu, but there is no way to navigate back to www from the wiki as I can see. And thats the beaviour on http://bugs.centos.org/main_page.php, click on logo gets you back to www. /Mats PS. Moved from http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=20263&forum=1 to here!

"Compression failed" message
...0 src/flac/main.c : Change the default beahviour when compression fails. Previously the flac executable would return a non-zero exit code when the output file was bigger than the input file and this could be disabled with the --no-error-on-compression-fail option. New beaviour is to print the failure message but return a zero exit code in the above situation, and only return a non-zero exit code with the --error--on-compression-fail option. The --no-error-on-compression-fail command line option has been retained. -- -----------------------------------------...

Python Playlist handler for ices
...er, I've seen yet shell script wrapper for the new ices, but no one speaks about python/perl handlers. Are these features planned to be reimplemented soon? I'm intrested in python handler, I've seen sources of old version but it doesn't seems so easy to implement by myself since the beaviour of python/perl handlers is different from the file based one (I'm talking about metadata stuff). How to mount OCFS2 file systems using the EMC Power Path multipath device
OEL 5, OCFS 1.4, using EMC Power Path for multi pathing. I want t mount the OCFS2 file system on the emc power path device. I can mount by UUID, and not have to worry about persistent bindings across nodes. But how do I make sure when it mounts by UUID , that the pwoer path device is used. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks -- Sridhar Avantsa savantsa at gmail.com -------------- next
