Odd issue with VirtualBox+9-STABLE+bce ...
I'm experiencing some odd issues with Virtualbox running on 9-STABLE. where my network periodically disappears ? sometimes, it comes back again after a few minutes, other times I have to reboot the server ? This last time, the error on the screen states: bce1: bce_pulse(): Warning: boot code thinks driver is absent! (bc_state = 0x00004006) I had 20 regular 'jail' VPSs running on it before I tried VirtualBox on it,and never had this problem, so figure it has to be something with VirtualBox / kmod ? ? Anyone experiencing any odd issues with Virt...

packet loss on ixgbe using vlans and ipv6
Hi, I have a Dell T710 with 4 X 10G ethernet interfaces (2 X Dual port Intel 82599 cards). It is running FreeBSD RELENG_8 last updated on July 13. What I see is packet loss (0 - 40%) on IPv6 packets in vlans, when the machine is not the originator of the packets. Let me try to describe a little more. If a neigbouring machine ping6 it, there will be packet loss. If it act as a router for ipv6,

Strange reboot since 9.1
Hello, Since FreeBSD 9.1 I have strange problems with the distribution. Some servers are rebooting without any kernel panic, instanly. First i thought it's a problem with my KVM system, but one of my FreeBSD under a Dell R210 have the same problem. The servers concerned are now: - Monitoring server - LDAP test server - Some other servers, randomly (not in production). First i thought it's

9-STABLE -> NFS -> NetAPP:
I'm running a few servers sitting on top of a NetAPP file server ? everything runs great, but periodically I'm getting: nfs_getpages: error 13 vm_fault: pager read error, pid 11355 (https) errors on my screen ? not always same pid ? the annoying part is that it seems to always affect the same jail that is running .. if I shutdown all jails on that physical server, everything shuts down
