...command. If for one reason, tincd crashes the route disappears also. What would be the best way to solve this problem? I'am thinking of an execv call in the tinc daemon that restores the route into the kernel when the connection is re-established. Are there any alternatives? ...true, i didn't realize that the reason the route disappeared was caused by a script that restarts tinc (and also resets the tap device), not by tinc itself. I compiled and installed tinc 0.3 today. Hi, This weekend I changed to faster machines, some very old Ethernet card and re-tried Tinc... I stumbled into some nasty bugs. Packets that are held in the receive queue become corrupted. I observed lengths (ie, the len field in the packet structure) that are ok when add_queue() inserts them in the queue, and way to large lengths or even negative when the queues get flushed.
