Dear R-helpers,
I have a data frame that is similar to the one below.
The row names are species and the E1, E2, E3 columns are presence/absence for a given site. I have an additional column 'origin' which has information about the species.

Parameterización de modelo mixto (multilevel)
Estimados integrantes de la lista.
Disculpas por posteo cruzado.
Estoy ajustando un modelo con lmer (lm4).
La variable respuesta es un índice (ADI) que se midió en 3 áreas diferentes
en 4 estaciones climáticas diferentes, así mis efectos fijos son area y
estaciones climáticas.
Cada área tiene 12 puntos de muestreo (Punto).
En cada punto de muestreo el índice se midió repetidamente a

APC nominal power patch
Hello,
i just want to share a quick n dirty patch to support nominal power in
APC ups's.
I was not sure about the name of the nut key and put it to
ups.power.nominal
Tested on APC SMARTUPS RS 550.

permanova for multivariate repeat measures toxicology data set
Hello,
I would like to use a permanova to analyze my repeated measures,
multivariate data set using the package vegan (adonis function). I
have several explanatory variables and many clinical
biochemistry/hematological response variables (all continuous,
non-normally distributed).
My explanatory variables are:
