my icecast server runs and ices also seems to work. but if i want to connect via winamp to my server i cann't hear anything. the connection seems ok because there stands [HTTP/1.0 200 OK] if i connect to my server http:// bladomain.bla:8000/ices and in my access.log there also stands the connection. does somebody know this problem? here is my ices.xml <p><ices:Configuration

Hi Brendan: The diff patched, configured and compiled just greate. A bit of a false start because I chose a bitrate lame didn't like. Once I figured that out however things went fine. You might want to log the point lame dies on something which would help others know where to look for lame errors. On another note, I see ices still only accepts /tmp for the ices:Basedirectory tag. I'm no expert on Ices0.3 but that config doesn't look right to me. I'm guessing that it's imperative to have the server config as part of the stream section since you can have multiple streams from one source going to multiple destinations (I think anyways.. :) Take a look at my config for ices0.3 below : --------------------------------------------------- <?xml
