Hi , I am planning to use an open source .ogg player on my ARM simulator on QEMU ( for ARM Application Baseboard ) . So far I have been able to bring up a Linux kernel 2.6.26.5 on the simulator . Right not I want an open source ogg vorbis player which I can use to call the libraries and play some files . However the catch is that I need the APIs exposed of the player application to me . I am

HDT 0.3.4 is out
HDT 0.3.4 has just been released. Since April, due to some important changes, HDT was no more in sync with Syslinux. The 0.3.4 release will solve that major issue and will be part of Syslinux-3.83-pre8. Beside this syncing with Syslinux, this release aims at solving disk's detection bugs and improving the DMI reporting. I would like to thank pam for that though work. He did most (who

My question is

How to use watchdog daemon with hardware watchdog driver interface?
Good morning! On a CentOS 6.4 / 64 bit server I have installed the watchdog 5.5 package. The rpm -qi watchdog states: The watchdog program can be used as a powerful software watchdog daemon or may be alternately used with a hardware watchdog device such as the IPMI hardware watchdog driver interface to a resident Baseboard Management Controller (BMC). ... Windows 7 guest not starting with HyperV features enabled
Hi, I have a Windows 7 SP1 Pro 64-bit VM which works fine on libvirt 2.3.0 and Qemu 2.7.0. If I enable HyperV features (https://libvirt.org/formatdomain.html#elementsFeatures) like "relaxed", "spinlocks" etc - VM doesn't boot. "Starting Windows" text appears for ~2 seconds (no flying dots, no logo) and then it just goes to black screen. If I switch HyperV

Without the GUID-Aliases list can debugging not continue? Gene, after modifying some of Patrick's code I have been able to get the EFI_GUID - 83F01464-99BD-45E5-B383AF6305D8E9E6 Does this give you the info you need? ipmi_si error on booting
I'm getting the (unintelligible to me) error message ipmi_si: Could not set up I/O space ERST: Failed to get Error Log Address Range when I try to boot any OS on the grub menu apart from the one I last installed. (Actually, Windows also boots properly.) I wonder if anyone has had this error message, and worked out where it comes from? I googled for it, and it has come up many times; but
