Hi Helpers:
I have a factor object that has 314k entries of 39 land cover types.
(This object can be coerced to characters neatly should that be easier
to work with.)

That's a pretty barren optimization pipeline.
http://llvm.org/docs/Passes.html
See opt --help and look into what -std-compile-opts is. That's the
usual starting point for new front ends, although it's a whole-module
pass pipeline. But it's only a starting point, since it's tuned for
llvm-gcc's...

ecological meaning of randomForest vegetation classification?
...evergreen tropical trees etc.), which was generated by a
vegetation model.
In order to evaluate the quality of the vegetation model's output, I want
to compare it to a land-cover data set which has 23 different land-cover
types (such as needle leaved evergreen forest, dense broad-leaved forest,
barren, etc.).
A statistician advised me to use the randomForest package in R and using a
sub-set to generate the random Forest, I get a very good prediction for the
rest.
However, I need to evaluate how meaningful this classification is in an
ecological sense (boreal trees should not play a role in the d...

Input appreciated: R teaching idea + a way to improve R-wiki
...ls as I teach this
course over the years. However, perhaps a better idea, and one that
probably benefits more people, is to have my students post their short
manuals (not as PDFs but rather typed in) on the R-wiki page.
Does this seem like a good idea to folks?
Another question has to do with how barren the current R wiki page
is... is it still being actively developed or has the community given
up on it?
Finally, any thoughts on where on the R-wiki site we should post our
"How To" manuals? The "tips and tricks" section seems to barely be
more than snippets of conversations fr...

Right but am I correct in believing that what I have done is pretty much all
that you can do from OCaml right now?

Multiple smbd processes generated
We have an occasional problem which manifests with multiple processes
being created for a particular user. For example, for a user "xy004":

xy004 9426 0.0 0.0 5.99M 0K ?? IW 11:52:18 0:03.68 smbd
xy004 10433 0.0 0.0 5.81M 0K ?? IW 12:17:20 0:00.85 smbd

[LLVMdev] Improving performance with optimization passes
I'm toying with benchmarks on my HLVM and am unable to get any performance
improvement from optimization passes. Moreover, some of my programs generate
a lot of redundant code (e.g. alloca a struct, store a struct into it and
read only one field without using the rest of the struct) and this does not
appear to be optimized away.
I simply copied the use of PassManager from the Kaleidoscope

In the theory about tc command ... In general, we define class under root qdisc
but Is it can be possible ???? If we define another qdisc under root qdisc, Can i do it?
because i have just read tc command syntax and i found this point ...

Samba 4 AD share: Access denied
...hore to keep repeating things on a mail list.
So much great knowledge just slips through time.
A forum would add much but you guys have your hands full, but sometimes the extra workload means future workload is less.
Anyway thanks for a super product even if the documentation at times is a little barren or confusing.

New automated Capistrano setup for Apache2.1+ and mongrel_cluster
Hi mongrel users!
I just posted a bad-ass capistrano file that automates *everything*
for setting up an apache2+mod_proxy_balancer and
mongrel+mongrel_cluster -- including apache2 setups. It''s based off
Coda Hale''s guide and all Bradley''s work at fluxura and RailsMachine
(thanks Coda and Bradley!).
It''s, well, bad-ass, if I must say so myself. My favorite

Switching to 16 bit colour ...
"bit of trouble" - good pun!
But I do hope it gets solved. Can you make a bash file (oh no - a pun of my own!) to automate any of those annoyances? Would putting the game "in its own WINE" help at all?
Cheers,
Jake
