Help needed - ISDN is "redialling"
We've just received a bill from bt where it claims that we are making
numerous calls to the same number time after time.

You're version of Ubuntu is obsolete. If you want an Ubuntu LTS, you
should upgrade to 14.04.

R Base installation not working

Package r-base is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package r-base has no installation candidate
How do I get around this?

Have I missed something obvious??

No, you shouldn't have to recreate anything in AD, it all should be replicated.
Lets start with what OS you are using and a copy of your smb.conf.

2) Can't get TWAIN to work - see earlier message
3) The pull down menus display as XMFile etc. instead of File etc. The author
of SharpEye says this is a bug in Wine.

also sync idmap.ldb from the DC holding the 'PdcEmulation' FSMO role to
all other DCs

idmap problems
...main admins ownership of directories when I create shares. Does this mean I will have to manually re-map the uid/gid attributes in the AD DC???
