Samba and trusted domains
Hi All, I installed samba 3.0.22 and join it to Win2003 AD domain. Users from my domain can access the samba shares successfully. My problem is that users from trusted domains can not access to my samba shares Wbinfo -m - show all the trusted domains Wbinfo -u - show all the users include the trusted domains users. Any Idea? Linux integration with AD
Hi All, I extended my AD schema (SFU 3.5) and migrated the users and groups from my NIS domain. The groups migrated from the NIS have the same GID like on the NIS. I added linux machines to my AD domain using windbind, and define on the smb.conf "idmap gid = 10000-20000". I logged in using my AD user account, and when I'm doing "id", I see that all the AD groups

Hi, I have written a simple c# program that move file from windows to a Unix path via samba. The user that do the work is a full privilege user. Using a win application this works fine but when I activated the prog. as a win service, I got a strange activity and the prog wasn't been able to find the folders. samba-3.0.22 with Heimdal Kerberos - compilation problem
Hi All, I'm trying to compile samba-3.0.22 with Heimdal Kerberos on Solaris 8 configure works fine but make fails I am running configure with the option --with-krb5=/opt/local which is where I have heimdal installed. The problem is that after running make, it still tries to use the include files from SUN that are in /usr/ and this screws up the compile.
