Putting a text box in a plot
..., say:
Mean: 0.1
St.Deviation: 1.1
Skewness: 1.1
Kurtosis: 0.5
I know there is a way to do this, there is a function in some library,
but it's been years since
I used this function, and I do not remember where I found it.
Could anyone help out?

Physically open Excel file from R
...ting file executes VBA code on open, so all I need to do is
physically open it (no reading/writing at all). I wonder if that can
be done from R, so that I do as little as possible manually.

Function similar to cumsum/cumprod
...00 observations.
I start by calculating mean of first 30 observations
Then I add one observation and calculate mean of 31 observations
Then I add one more observation and calculate mean of 32 observation,
and so on until the end
Is there a function like that in R?

howto enable ssh on connect to rsync daemon

I'm trying to setup automatic sync of files over SSH from node2 to node1.
node2 is the "server" and node1 is the "client".
I have setup rsync like this on the nodes which runs AIX (4.3.3 and 5.1):
1. Installed rsync from Linux Toolbox (rsync-2.5.4-1.aix4.3.ppc.rpm) on both nodes.
