Samba PDC kills WinXP
Hi,
I have a little problem with my Samba PDC setup.
I have a Debian / Etch with Samba 3.0.24 with OpenLDAP Backend and use
it as PDC with domain logons and roaming profiles enabled.
The logon for normal domain users work without any problems, but when I
login with my domain administrator account my Windows XP Professional
client I have a big problem.
After the logout, when it tries to copy

I was wondering, has anybody tried the sernet samba 4 applicance of installed the deb files of the appliance?on a debian (squeeze) server,
in combination with zarafa and if so, whats the experiance.

I want to move my samba 3 pdc to samba 4 AD ( on new server ) and i want to move my current zarafa server to samba4 integrated setup.

Samba+LDAP Group mapping
Hi,
I'm running into weird problems after switching from tdbsam to ldapsam
user backend. I have transferred all local unix and samba groups with the
sambaldap-tools scripts. The 'net groupmap list' command prints all
group mappings correctly, and I also can use all the groups present in
LDAP for setting local file ownerships.
However these groups don't appear in the windows

Samba4 + OpenLDAP + Dovecot
Hello Samba list.
I have a question which I am unable to find the answer in the world wide
web.
My current setup I wish to upgrade is as follows:
OpenLDAP with user acount information (names, passwords, etc.) against

Load schema into Samba4 Ldap
Hi all,
can somebody tell me if it is possible to load an additional schema into
Samba4's internal ldap server and how to do this.
I want to be able to replace my openldap server and store users account
information with the nis.schema .
