Kernel log output meaning
...iface address.
I do not think I have tried to initiate such a connections purposely.
Possibly by playing whith spamassassin?..
Remember, I had failed attempt to download its source from its website
somewhere at that time. (The second downloading attempt has
successed.)

kerberos5 authentication of ssh connections

as in case of pam may be useful say if I need to pass users to
exploiting kerberized applications gradually, and even more that when
I suffering problems with my KDCs or network connections.
IMHO using pam_krb5 for kerberized login is some superfluous.

MD5 checksum missmatch for bpft4
Hello freebsd-security,
Apologize if it's offtopic, but:
The message digest checksum for bpft4 from ports/net/bpft does not
matchs the one printed on the sources page at
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/pds.cgi?ports/net/bpft
My digests are 3810114b068f438cc7e8e0b1af745953 from top 6 links.
Only last ftp://rusunix.org/pub/FreeBSD/distfiles/bpft4-latest.tgz
gave the right cheksum -

SA-03:12: sshd stops to answer queries after applying the patch
Hello freebsd-security,
I've applied the patch from ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/CERT/patches/SA-03:12/buffer46.patch
for my 4.8 stable last cvsuped at 20 aug 2003.
Now 'ssh -l user localhost' says:
ssh_exchange_identification: connection closed by remote host
Trying remote connections have the same result.
sshd.log with log level 'verbose' does not contains
