[Flac-users] How do I encode a FLAC with tags?
So there are no command line options like in oggenc to do artist and
misc tags? Sure if you've got a solution that I don't have to do from
scratch then post away! :-)
Thanks!

http://www.bagu.org/flac.html
i have also made a utility to calculate the discid of flac files so that
files that don't have id-tags, what whatever tags become the standard, can be
added with cddb. right now its a giant hack on meta-flac but it works. if ppl
are interested i will clean it up. i'm still wo...

[Flac-users] Stuttering over NFS & Samba
hi Neologism,
i can play flac from my server to my workstation via nfs. i have a 100BaseT
line as well. i only get stuttering when i'm copying files at the same time
as listening. i'm using xmms.
perhaps something is not set up correctly. maybe the unit doesn't have enough
processing power to deal with the bandwidth usage (i am unfamiliar with the
unit though).
anyway just thought

continuous play between tracks
hello,
i noticed that when i play flac files with xmms there is a gap between
tracks, even on a continuous cd. is this supposed to happen? i thought that
the file format was suppose to allow continuous playback.
my first thoughts were that the program i used to rip (cdparanoia) was to
blame. i uncompressed the flac to wav and spliced it together only find it
playing correctly.
