BackupPC FAQ? Backups Apparently Working, but Web Interface Shows Nothing
BackuPC host is CentOS 6.2. Just one windows XP client. SMB backups
appear to be working; there is data in the backup directory tree,
including a subdir named for the client, in which I can manually view
individual files that have been backed up.
Now trying to use the web interface. Apache lets me log in, but the
status screen shows nothing. Hosts screen says:

XVA.PY Trouble
.... root=/dev/xvda instead of root=/dev/sda1.
10. Edit /mnt/tmp/etc/fstab to reference /dev/xvda instead of /dev/sda1
(this also had a 2GB swap disk, removed this)
11. unmount the temporary volume via umount /mnt/tmp
12. generate the XVA file
./xva.py -n centos --is-pv --disk backup.img --filename=backupcent.xva
I try to take this .XVA file and import it directly in to XenCenter and it
says "This file could not be imported" I try to convert the .XVA into an OVF
and it says "failed to decode tar header record"
The only thing I can think of is I had 3 disks attached to this VM, 5 GB...

drbd
so I've had a drbd replica running for a while of a 16TB raid thats used
as a backuppc repository.
when I have rebooted the backuppc server, the replica doesn't seem to
auto-restart til I do it manually, and the backupc /data file system on
this 16TB LUN doesn't seem to automount, either.
I've rebooted this thing a few times in the 18 months or so its been
running... not
